Individual project planning with a passion for yachts, campers & off-grid applications
Since 1997, I have relied on my experience as a self-employed radio/TV technician and master automotive mechatronics technician. Initially with a successful master automotive workshop for classic and modern vehicles as well as caravans.
In 2019, I expanded my passion to yachts. After purchasing a Beneteau Oceanis 323, it became clear how critical electrical systems, navigation, and energy independence are on board. During the refit I solved, among others, the following challenges:
- Replaced corroded connectors and oxidized cables
- Modernized sanitary systems and seacocks
- Retrofitted solar panels, battery monitor, communication equipment (AIS, VHF), and NMEA
- Installed safety equipment such as a life raft and EPIRB
In 2022 we founded Frenchman Energy & Marine and have since installed numerous stationary PV and battery storage systems – both on boats and in campers. Many installations were carried out directly at shipyards, allowing us to gain valuable practical experience for professional complete systems.
In 2024 comfort requirements changed: A larger boat replaced the Beneteau. The refit of the Jeanneau 37.1 put many of the gained experiences into practice and deepened our expertise in:
- Yacht electrical systems
- Energy management
- Safety systems
Our solution:
- Selection of high-quality and reliable components
- Integration of existing Raymarine Seatalk instrumentation with modern Seatalk NG technology and Victron electronics
- Use exclusively of Hapag-Lloyd certified halogen-free marine cables
- Individual project planning for yachts, campers, and off-grid applications
Thanks to our practical experience and numerous installations, we develop tailor-made concepts, provide practical advice, and ensure that your system operates safely, efficiently, and reliably over the long term.
